Temporary Housing for Single Mother’s in Need.

Our Why:

Raven Haydon, our founder, was a single mother struggling at 19. She faced repeated rejections for food stamps and cash assistance because her income of $45,000 a year was deemed "too much" for help but not enough to live on. The process for assistance took weeks, leaving her without electricity for three weeks and facing eviction. She prioritized her child's needs over rent, believing no mother should have to make such a choice. This experience led to the creation of Raven’s Haven.

Our program collaborates with low-occupancy apartment complexes to secure leases for qualifying single mothers for up to 12 months, providing them stability while they regain their footing. We also offer money management coaching, therapy, and part-time work within our organization to mothers seeking employment.

In addition to securing temporary housing for single mothers in need, Raven’s Haven offers rental, mortgage, and cash assistance for qualifying mothers.

Our How:

Our Goal:

We actively collaborate with Greater Global to provide essential support to families and communities in need across the globe, with a particular focus on assisting single mothers. As our organization expands its reach and capabilities, we have ambitious plans to repurpose abandoned strip malls into temporary housing solutions. Additionally, we are dedicated to investing in the restoration of these properties, ensuring that safe and accessible housing options are readily available whenever they are needed most.
